Serve with Love.

Code of Conduct
Representing Christ in All We Do

the Shepherd. Our participants come from fragile and painful places —
your consistency and compassion help create the trust they need.

Be punctual, reliable, and
consistent in your service

Dress modestly and present
yourself professionally

Speak with kindness and
listen with patience

Respect the privacy and dignity
of every individual

Avoid gossip, assumptions, and judgment

Raise any concerns through your
team leader or coordinator
Confidentiality
Guarding Trust with Care
Our participants often carry trauma, fear, and shame. You are not here to fix them — you are here to walk with them in safety and love. That begins with trust.
Never share personal stories or information outside your assigned team. Whether written, spoken, or digital, all information must be handled with care. Boundaries must always be respected — emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Your Confidentiality Agreement explains this fully, and we ask you to honour it wholeheartedly as part of your commitment to serve.

Preparing for Your Role
Induction Checklist
Before you begin, please ensure the following are completed:
Attend an induction session
Read and sign the Confidentiality Agreement
Learn emergency and safety procedures
Meet your team leader or support coordinator
Receive your service location, schedule, and role description
This process ensures you are fully supported and ready for your role. You are never alone in this work — your team is with you every step of the way.
Every Act of Service Matters
More Than Help — A Ministry of Presence
At Christ the Shepherd, we believe in long-term transformation, not quick fixes. Many of the people we support have been rejected, isolated, or forgotten. Your role may seem simple — a conversation, a meal, a prayer — but it carries deep significance.

Through presence, patience, and prayer, you will help rebuild identity, offer dignity, and restore hope. Every smile and every act of service reminds someone that they are loved and not alone.
