- Recently we celebrated our
50th anniversary.

more about us.
- With our sister ELCA churches in Pasadena we form a
Parish.
- For better understanding and mutual enrichment in the expression of
our faith, we also cooperate with our Episcopalian neighbors,
- St. Mark's Episcopal Church,
our covenant partner in Christ.
- Who are we
Lutherans?
- We are a member of the
Southern
California (West) Synod and the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in
America.
- We also belong to a World Wide Community of Churches, the
Lutheran World
Federation , and the
World Council of Churches.
- We like music and sing a lot. Luther said, the devil hates music and
flees from people who sing.
- Some of our songs are from
Taizé,
a community of saints who serve the Lord and work for peace and
reconciliation.
- We are a convenant church of
Bread for the World, a citizens action group on behalf of hungry
people here in the U.S. and in all countries wherever there is need.

ELCA News Bulletin.
